Hi Members

The club has arranged a Provide First Aid course (HLDAID003) to be run on 17 Sept at the Club commencing 8.30 for a 9 am start to conclude around 4.30. The cost is $70 to members. The trainer is a NSWSLS trainer. The course is workcover recognised.

You need to be at least 14years of age on the 17 September to undertake the course.

You will add benefit to the clubs lifesaving resources and to your broader community by completing this course. Also last season SLSNSW required the club to provide First Aid trained volunteers to the State carnival for both Juniors and Seniors; this will continue again this season. So if you are a parent of a competitor you could assist our club by completing this course and assisting during the event. The course is a step up from what is learnt during your bronze course.

All participants need to bring photo ID on the day and you need to bring your Unique Student Identification number with you. If you do not have a USI visit this site http://www.usi.gov.au/create-your-usi/ and if you have forgotten your USI this site can also assist.

if you would like to undertake the course please respond to maroubraeducation@gmail.com

NSWSLS will send you an email with further information and online training to be completed before the course unless you hold a current Provide First Aid Award.

thanks

Paul O’Donohue
Chief Training Officer
